He didn’t answer me. He only stared at me, his eyes squinting.
“I’m not joking, Jada; I’ve had enough of your crap. I want you to take off those white, skimpy shorts and show me that ass now.” “No. Fucking. Way.” I ran to the barn door, pulled it wide open and walked away towards the main house. I noticed as I bypassed the kitchen that Max was following me. I did not want to deal with him right now; my blood was boiling. I took the stairs two at a time, but I could feel he was catching up to me.
Shit. My heart nearly beat out of my chest. Adrenaline soared through my body, and I was panting.
As I opened the door to my old bedroom, I felt a strong set of arms circle my waist. I screamed, but he didn’t care; he lifted me off my feet and threw me on the bed not caring how I landed.
Review
If I had to leave a one sentence review for this book it would say "This book was HOT, SEXY, & one of my fav reads this year."
Elle Raven has a hit with this book. If I could rate it more then 5 stars on any book site I would. I have very few books that have made me feel this way.
This book will have you hooked from the Prologue. Literally that's all it took for me to want to plant my ass in bed and read all day and read.
Max is one hot Alpha Male and the way his relationship with Jada transpires is not traditional in any manner but works for them and this story. I love that there was no beating around the bush with drawn out scenes to get you to were you needed to be. Elle did an amazing job with telling this story. It was the right amount of suspense, angst, sex, and romance. It is very rare to find a book that has everything you can ask for out of it and all in one place.
I also love that Elle was not afraid to write about the sex in this book. I just loved the way all the scenes where written. They were SEXY as hell. ( I may have to have my hubs read a few. LOL!)
But seriously you will regret not picking up this book so go one click it today and start reading a book that is sure to give you the best book hangover you have ever had. I am still recovering.
